Hi! I’m Taylor, the owner and lead planner behind Taylored Events. I grew up in Charlestown, one of Boston’s most historic neighborhoods, where there was always something going on, and life always felt fast paced. Looking back now, it makes a lot of sense how I ended up in the events industry.

My career in hospitality and events has taken me all over the East Coast. Years ago, my husband and I packed up an old couch my grandmother gave us, took a leap, and moved to Connecticut to start our next chapter together. While there, I worked for the Trumbull Marriott, where my love for weddings, luxury hospitality, corporate events, event logistics, and production really took off.

A few years later, we moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina while my husband served in the United States Marine Corps. During that time, I worked as the Director of Sales at the Jacksonville Marriott while also helping organize events and support military families through the 1st Battalion 8th Marines Unit. That chapter of life taught me how to adapt quickly, think on my feet, lead under pressure, and manage a million moving pieces at once, all skills that continue to shape the way I approach events today.

Eventually, we made our way back home to Boston, where I continued growing my career in hospitality, weddings, luxury events, and corporate event production. Today, I’m also a mom to two daughters, Olivia and Dani, who definitely keep life interesting and busy in the best way possible!

Now, more than 20 years after first stepping into the hospitality industry at 14 years old, I’ve planned everything from luxury weddings and destination weddings to galas, corporate events, backyard celebrations, and multi day event weekends throughout Boston, New England, Europe and beyond.

 

My approach is hands on, honest, collaborative, and extremely personalized. I’m the person fluffing dresses, adjusting timelines, fixing seating charts, carrying candles through venues, answering last minute vendor calls, and making sure my clients can actually enjoy their event instead of stressing over it.
